New York City-based perfume company Bond No. 9 describes the beachy scent on its website as, "Sand, surf, sunshine. Bare skin and bare feet. Carefree weekends. concerts by the water. Real people, real moments, real New York. Retro-Chic scent with a fresh orange flower note."

Jones Beach officials are "unaware of" the new fragrance which sells at Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom and on the manufacturer's website here.

"We learned of the Jones Beach perfume from the media, and we were unaware of its existence," New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation Regional Director George Gorman told Daily Voice.

Greenwich Village, Hamptons, and NoLita are some of the company's other perfume names.
